About the event
Dan is very excited to present his jazz favorites with some surprise arrangements and originals. Jazz was Dan’s foundation while studying under true jazz greats at City College in New York City. He was inspired by his teachers, John Lewis of the Modern Jazz Quartet and Lee Konitz sax player for Miles Davis. Later he found success with Grammy nominated pop band Nu Shooz and was a recipient of a gold record for the hit song “I Can’t Wait”, a song that is still given air play worldwide. He also was a part of The Crazy 8’s, a popular World Beat band in the 1980’s and is twice inducted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame.
Dan is joined by his favorite Northwest guitarist Chuck Everett. Chuck enjoys a history of versatility and has been entertaining and delighting audiences both live and as a studio musician. He performed in Hawaii…
